RODNEY NKELE KONGOLO – TALENT HAS NO AGE

Rodney Nkele Kongolo (born on 9th January 1998) is a Dutch professional footballer, born into a family with two older brothers who are also footballers, Terence and Fidel. This is probably a great source of motivation from his family for his success.

In Manchester City's development team, Kongolo has progressed through both City's Under-18s and Elite Development, as he plays in a Box-to-Box role and in a more defensive position. At the same time, he also developed as the captain of the development team in the UEFA Youth League and later Premier League 2. At the end of the 2016–2017 season, Kongolo was named EDS Player of the Year.

Kongolo signed a three-year contract with Heerenveen on 18th July 2018. He made his SC Heerenveen debut, where he came on as a substitute for Nemanja Mihajlović in the 57th minute, in a 3–2 win over PEC Zwolle in the opening game of the season. He then made his first match on August 17th, 2018, where he started the whole match, in a 3–2 win over Vitesse.

With his height of 187cm and weight of 78kg, Trevi Bike has always been a companion during his training time in Heerenveen. Wish him to achieve more top game in his career. 🌟
